Attention ALL Grade 5 families.....Students are creating a presentation about a NOTABLE person who has contributed or made a change to Australia from 1788 to 1900.  This will be shared with families on Thursday the 4th of June at 6:30pm to start at around 6:45pm.  We hope you enjoy the night...and we hope you can make it!

5C have been asked to put their questioning, researching and thinking skills into ACTION.  As we have been looking at Australian Climate and Landscapes through Inquiry and in Religious Education we decided to look at times when Mother Nature is at it tempestuous worst....Natural Disasters.  We narrowed the list down to four typically Australian Natural Disasters; Bushfire, Cyclones, Floods and Droughts.  

Below is a Link to the Assignment Guidelines, as well as the Questions that 5C brainstormed together to guide their research.  Any help, including good resources such as Websites, Books or even some Experts in the field would be MUCH APPRECIATED by 5C.  Please suggest some great research tools in the Comment field below!
